High Pressure Die Casting Components

High Pressure Die Casting is when molten metal is injected through the chamber at high pressure to fill the mould cavity.

High Pressure Die Casting tool consists of two halves, one being inactive and the other being mobile. The tool is attached to the HPDC machine, capable of injecting molten metal at high pressure into the mould cavity. The die is held tight by a compressive force to solidify the metal in the cavity. Once the metal is solidified, the die is opened, and the metal is removed. High Pressure Die Casting suits large and light alloy parts in high volumes.
